Foil stamping

is a method of letterpress printing that uses a metal die, heat and pressure to apply a metallic or pigmented film to create an image. The pigment layer of the foil is released with heat and pressure, using a die in a stamping press. The foil used in the foil stamping process comes in rolls and can be clear or virtually any colour and can be shiny or matte. Foil stamping is an excellent means of customization and adds a touch of elegance to business stationery or marketing piece.
